The City of Wapakoneta is a full service city providing water treatment, waste water treatment, and electric power to its residents. Over a 10 year period, it has consistently provided one of the lowest electric power rates out of over 90 plus municipal, rural electric cooperatives, and investor-owned utilities in the State of Ohio. It has excess water and sewage treatment capacities, exceeding over a million gallons per day, and can accommodate the demands of all average industrial users.
