Farmers Market
Held Saturday mornings in season, residents assemble at 9am to buy and sell local produce, plants, baked goods, preserves and crafts. Located on the Auglaize River in Belcher Park.

Auglaize County Fair
This annual, week long event is one of the highlights of the summer season. Plenty of good food, rides, exhibits, competitions and quality entertainment keep the whole family amused. The event is held at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds just off Route 33 in Wapakoneta. July 28- August 2.

Summer Moon Festival
Help celebrate flight achievement, the 1969 moon landing and our community's heritage along with clubs, organizations and concessionairs along the Auglaize River in downtown Wapakoneta mid-July. This event features a scholarship competition, talent show, pork fest, entertainment and a Community Street Sale sponsored by WASS as well as commemorative and flight-related activites at the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum

Halloween Parade
A local favorite, the annual Halloween parade is held in late October... after dark! Traditionally held the Thurday before the end of daylight savings time in October.

The 4th of July is celebrated at the county fairgrounds with food, rides, games and fireworks at the 2-day St Joe Festival.

Festival of Trees Organizations sponsor or co-sponsor decorated Christmas trees which are auctioned to benefit the clients of the Tri-County Visiting Nurses and Hospice. The Gardens at Wapakoneta, mid-november annually.

The Walking Christmas Concert and Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree occurs on the first day of advent annually. The event is highlighted by luminaries and singing. Starts at the Fire Department, Downtown. Sponsored by the Noon Optimist Club.

The Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet, held in November, is the event at which the Citizen of the Year, as well as other awards, is revealed. Contact the Chamber of Commerce for information about how to nominate. Nominations are due by late October.

Awards given: Citizen of the Year, Ambassador Award Outstanding Business person, Outstanding Employee, Volunteer of the Year, Most Improved Property
